Project NL – Fall 2025
Developed during the fall 2025 semester, Mine Atlas is the outcome of the Berlage’s long-standing Project NL design-research course, structured in three parts. In the first, a wide range of archival materials is selected, described, annotated, and interrelated to form a documentation of spatial developments. In the second, observations on architectural, urban, and landscape design approaches relevant to these developments are translated into arguments articulated in text and newly produced drawings. In the third, the collective body of work is post-produced into a publication, exhibition, website, and events

Mine Atlas is the third in a series of publications that brings together fragments of information and spatial histories, offering a curated selection of the many possible arguments that could be made about each area of study.
